Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship internationally?

YES! We ship worldwide! All post is sent out within 2 working days, and for UK customers on the same day if order is placed before 12pm. For international buyers, there is a chance postage may take longer to reach you, please bear this in mind when purchasing. This isn't a reflection on us however, but on the post handlers!
**Please note that Five Little Diamonds isn't responsible for any additional tax, customs charges and other charges that maybe encountered through overseas shipments.**

 

Can you combine shipping from both this shop and Five Little Diamonds on Etsy?

Yes! Simply send us a message to info@fivelittlediamonds.co.uk or use the contact form on this site. Include details of the items you would like and where they are to be sent too, and we will alter the listing on Etsy so postage is free. You will receive two separate invoices in this instance.

 

How will my item be sent?

UK items are sent by Royal Mail 2nd Recorded, except for jewellery and paper goods, which are sent by standard Royal Mail second class. However, all UK orders are £3.99 (£1 for small paper goods) unless otherwise chosen at the checkout. Posters are sent in a cardboard tube. Post prices vary on Etsy, due to the many different sizes and weights of the items.
ALL SHIPPING FEES INCLUDE COST OF PACKING MATERIALS.
International items are sent by Standard Airmail, and again are based on size and weight.
All items are very carefully packaged with tissue paper and bubble-wrapped where necessary.

As part of our Environmental Policy, to reduce waste we try to recycle as many cardboard boxes, packing chips and bubble wrap as possible. This means your parcel may arrive in a box that has printing on it, or looks a little worn. If you need your parcel to arrive in a brand new box please let us know and we’ll be happy to oblige. We also send our parcels out every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, to reduce our carbon footprint.

 

Do you offer refunds?

We are unable to accept refunds on sale items, and will instead offer an exchange with a product of the same cost, with any extra and postage to be paid by the buyer.

 

To qualify for a full refund, you must email info@fivelittlediamonds.co.uk within 7 working days of receiving your order to tell us that you will be returning an item. We will then email you a return form to fill in and enclose with your return. You as the customer must bear the cost of returning the goods. If your email request for a refund is made outside of the 7 working days then the original postage charges will not be refunded. 

Returns must also be received within 14 days from the date you received your order, to qualify for a refund including original postage charges. Please note, we are unable to provide a refund of the delivery charges when only part of your order is being cancelled. 

We ask that the goods are returned to us intact and in a re-saleable condition. If items returned are found damaged in any way or we are unable to resell them, then these goods will be resent to you and your request for a refund will be void. We also reserve the right to charge you any re-delivery costs.

Refunds are made in GBP. If you ordered from abroad we cannot be held responsible for any fluctuations in exchange rates and you will be refunded the original amount paid (excluding postage costs if delivered to an address outside the UK). 

If you have purchased products as part of an offer or discount, the amount refunded will be adjusted accordingly to reflect any failure to meet the original requirements for the offer or discount as a result of returning the product.

 

What if my item is damaged or lost in the post?

We will repair any broken jewellery, or if that's not possible we will offer a replacement or refund. We also aim to replace/refund items lost in the post, minus postage costs if the error was the fault of the customer.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept both credit cards and Paypal at www.fivelittlediamonds.co.uk, which is safe and easy to use. You don’t have to be a member of PayPal to make a purchase.

If you purchase in our Etsy shop (link in footer menu) you can pay by Paypal and Etsy Direct Checkout. None of our new or branded items can be paid this way, only handmade and vintage.
Payments go via the secure PayPal server. All payment details you enter are kept totally safe and will not be shared with us.
